- Step 2: Move one node higher and clear the first Fresnel zone where practical. Keep antennas vertical and away from batteries, displays and metal enclosures.
- Step 3: Verify the antenna is designed for the regional band and connector. Compare stock and replacement antennas without changing preset or power.
- Step 4: Only after placement is optimized, choose the slowest modem preset that meets capacity and latency needs while staying within regional duty-cycle rules.
